THE HISTORY OF GALATASARAY

Galatasaray is first established in 1481 as an educational institution for the purpose of preparing young men for public service. Galatasaray is probably one of the oldest schools of its kind in the world. After giving valuable service to the state for over 350 years,Galatasaray was replaced by a modern school functioning along the French classical education system,which is called “Lycee Imperial de Galata-Serai” which opened in 1868 in the same premises. After the Republic the name was changed in 1923 to “Lycee de Galatasaray”

Galatasaray Sport club's origine is based on this Lycee. This Lycee founded Galatasaray and gave its name..

We are all alone!We aren't understood by the other people!We are so weak...
In these days, i learn that we have 4 million facebook users in Turkey and this number increases so rapidly. This is so huge number.Psychologists say that this is because we are alone.They think when we aren't approved in society, we create new charachter on web which we aren't in real world.This is so bad that we can see we are getting and getting asocial. Unfortunatelly, we will have asocial young generations.But i have a dream.Imagine all the people dancing and touching each other communicating in a joyfull harmony.

DUCK!!!!!

This week, i hate ducks, all ducks.Because i have a midteerm about duck.I try to find all idioms about duck but it is so difficult for me.When i heard this midterm,i thought that it would be so easy because internet gives us that chance. Now i understand that it is not as easy as i thought.I'll do my best. But unfortunately,i have another midterm, EDS-200 and i have another task which is roleplaying. This wednesday, i'll have to play a charachter in Listening and Pronouncation lesson.Finally, i have to do a homework until monday. And "how can i manage to do all this things in this week?" when i ask this question to myself, i answer simply "i don't KNOW!

HOW DOES ADVERTISING INFLUENCE PEOPLE'S BEHAVIOURS

All humans are weak creatures.They can be all influenced by something

which can be a speech or a picture or a video etc....

Most big companies are aware of this weakness and they use it when they want to sell

something....... For example big supermarkets give musics for their customers because it is

proved that if people listen the right music, they want to buy something.

In cinemas,, they use an advertisement technich which shows popcorn in per 32 scence so

when the film gives a break, customers want to buy popcorn...And in some films adn in some

advertisements,, they use violence and sexualyty which take people's attention mostly and they

do these technichs so hidely that we can't be aware of them if we don't scan them particularity,,

they influence our underaware......................

My first day at METU-3

We chatted and chatted all night. The chineese boy said to me that you are the first turkish friend i have.This is my forth day in METU he said...

My first day at METU-2

I called my friend who is 2. term in METU and i said we haven t got any idea about this registration and he helped my first friend in METU, İbrahim, and me, so we could do our registration..

After registration, i went to my dormitory. There was only one bed which was ready to sleep and the others were empty. I prepared my bed and waited my new dormmate.. Time was 24.00 and i wanted to sleep because i thought he wouldn t come our dorm that night.When i almost slept, the door was opened. I saw a man and he said to me hi. I was shocked because my dormmate was a chineese boy... I asked myself 'where am I????'..... I thought that The METU is so different..................

My first day at METU-1

when I came in METU, everywhere seemed to me so strange.. Because I didn t know where METU was and i knew nobody(in my term, but i had friends in another terms like 2.-3. term ) in here. At first time, I had to do my registration and I knew nothing about registration. I saw a man who didn t know anything like me. I understood he was also in first year. I wanted to get acquainted with him and i asked him how could ı do my registration?? . I knew he hadn t got any idea about it and i said com' n,, let s go each other and do it together.. So i had the first friend in METU......
